Mar 2014 – African Demography in The Economist

An article in the March 8-14 of The Economist – “The Dividend is Delayed” – analyzes the findings of “African Demography,” an entry by Jean-Pierre Guengant and John May in the September 2013 edition of the Global Journal of Emerging Market Economies, a publication of the Emerging Markets Forum. Guengant and May’s analysis on the crucial role of demographic projection in Africa’s march towards prosperity served a key part of Africa 2050: Realizing the Continent’s Full Potential, one of Centennial’s latest publications.
